Christian Rouldan is a seasoned leader in cell and gene therapy, serving as Senior Director of Business Development at Comprehensive Cell Solutions.
With a deep expertise spanning manufacturing, business development, client acquisition, relationship management, contract negotiation, and new technology implementation, Christian has built a career defined by strategic vision and tangible results. Early in his professional journey, Christian served as a scientific researcher in biotech and academic institutions. Additionally, he worked in operations at Minaris Regenerative Medicine, a leading global CDMO, establishing comprehensive technical expertise in cell therapy process development and manufacturing. Transitioning to leadership, he leveraged this technical foundation to lead and restructure the business development team, negotiate high-value global contracts, and implement cross-functional strategies that bridged technical and business objectives. At Cellares, he contributed to the introduction of new automation technologies for cell therapy manufacturing by generating and managing new business relationships with growing biotechs and established big pharma companies. Most recently, as former Executive Director of Business Development at BioCentriq (now Made Scientific), he spearheaded initiatives to generate new business opportunities and successfully positioned the company’s CDMO services for long-term market success.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University and completed a master’s program in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine.
